On Monday, March 7th, Allatoona’s Air Rifle team showed out, winning the Area 9 Championship. Senior Evan Fix is “feeling pretty good” after the big victory for the team, and looks ahead into the season, giving praise to “teammates Macey [Fowler] and Ben [Stroud],” who he believes “will be very good competitors for the rest of the season.” Evan is confident that Macey and Ben’s increasing scores combined with seniors Sofia Sadir and Jayton Duggar’s scores will give them an opportunity “to compete in state, and hopefully win the state championship.” The Air Rifle team’s next match is the GHSA Sectional Tournament on Saturday, March 26th.
