Allatoona Junior Bucs Lacrosse Programs

Welcome to the fast-paced, hard-hustling world of youth lacrosse — where teamwork, dedication, and pure love of the game come together! Our program is built to inspire players of all skill levels to grow on and off the field, developing confidence, discipline, and lifelong friendships along the way. Whether your athlete is picking up a stick for the first time or sharpening their competitive edge, we’re here to fuel their passion, challenge their potential, and celebrate every goal — big or small.

Why play Lacrosse?

The Allatoona Junior Bucs Lacrosse Programs bring the fastest game on two feet to life! Lacrosse combines the best parts of basketball, soccer, and hockey — teamwork, speed, and nonstop excitement. It’s a sport for everyone — big or small — where coordination, agility, and hustle matter most. Players quickly learn new skills, gain confidence, and have an absolute blast on the field.

  • All-Around Athlete Development: Builds coordination, quickness, endurance, and field awareness.
  • Fast & Fun: Constant action means every player gets involved — with tons of touches and scoring chances.
  • Perfect for All Ages & Skill Levels: Beginners pick up the basics quickly and love learning through play.
  • Safe & Controlled: No body contact in girls’ lacrosse and limited contact in younger boys’ divisions.
  • Team Spirit: Players form strong friendships and learn the value of teamwork and sportsmanship.
  • Great for Multi-Sport Athletes: Lacrosse boosts skills that transfer easily to football, basketball, soccer, and more.

Join the Junior Bucs and discover why lacrosse is one of the fastest-growing and most exciting sports around!

What equipment do the players need?

Players provide their own gear — but we make it easy to get started!

Lacrosse equipment is a great long-term investment — especially for K–3 players, since most gear fits for multiple seasons. And if your player ever moves on, equipment is easy to resell or pass along to another family.

Estimated Costs for All New Equipment:

Boys: $130–$200 new — includes helmet, mouthguard, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, and stick.

Girls: $45–$100 new — includes stick, goggles, and mouthguard (helmet optional).
Many families find affordable options through local resales, donations, or beginner packages. Our Jr. Bucs equipment loan, rental, and donation programs grow each season to help new players gear up without stress. For more information, email [email protected]

Equipment Options:

  • Jr. Bucs Loan & Rental Program – limited sets available each season
  • Used Gear – check local resales, Facebook groups, or Play It Again Sports
  • New Starter Kits – available from Dick’s, Lacrosse Monkey, and other online retailers
  • Gear Swap Network – connect with veteran families through Bucs Lax for gently used equipment

We’re here to help every player get on the field — affordably and fully equipped!
