Our Athlete of the week this week is Jackson Fountain. Jackson is a Senior at Allatoona High school and has been playing soccer since he was three years old. “He is a very hard worker and a ferocious defender who has been so good for us,” said Boys Head Soccer Coach Erik Fridborg. “I try to lead by example on the field and in the classroom,” Jackson says. His favorite memory while playing soccer at Allatoona is “when the referee pulled out a red card on me, and I convinced him to change it to a yellow.” Jackson’s plans after high school are to attend college and prepare for law school. His advice to younger players is to “make sure to make the right decisions even when nobody is watching.”
