The Athlete of the Week for Allatoona is AJ Fitts. AJ is a Wide Receiver here, and he has been playing since he was little. He grew up playing football from the age of four, and he has been a star since. He takes huge pride in football and plans on playing in college. Being a great football player is not always about what happens on the field. He knows he also has to do great in school and anything he puts any effort into. Coach Jeremy Anderson had to say about AJ, “AJ is one of the active leaders on the team that plays on Offense and Defense. His exciting plays on the field give the team a positive spark and keep everyone working hard for our team goals.” Playing on both Offense and Defense shows how much AJ puts into football and how great he is. Some words by AJ for younger athletes are, “Make sure you leave everything on that field. What you bring in it and whatever bad comes from it. Stay on top of your work, school, and craft.” Football is a big part of his life as he knows football and other sports will be for many others, so he wanted to make sure every athlete does their very best. Congratulations, AJ Fitts, and keep up all the hard work.
