Allatoona Football Season Update

Written by Kamran Padilla – Newspaper Staff Reporter

Allatoona Football has been struggling the first few games with no wins. They have played some good teams, and they have not been on the right path to begin the season. They are improving each game, especially the Homecoming game. The Bucs played Hillgrove at our stadium on September 9th, and they were able to get their first win. The coaches are not proud of how they started the season out, but they know what and how to improve it. Coach Varner has some words on this season, “We started out rough trying to work as a team, but now we are getting better at that. The Homecoming game shows that our players can work together and that they are improving.” Even though the record is not the prettiest with one win and four losses, they are proud of the team for their improvements. The Bucs are ready to take on the Wolves at Rome High School Friday night. This will be a challenging game since the close loss against the Grizzlies last week, but they are ready to get back to a winning record against the 3-1 Wolves. Good luck, Bucs, with this difficult game, and let’s win it!
