Coach Morey has an Associates from Corning Community College and a Bachelors in Business Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology, where he played football and lacrosse, after playing both in high school as well. He began coaching youth lacrosse in 1999 with Plano Youth Lacrosse in Texas, then founded and coached boys and girls lacrosse with West Cobb Lacrosse from 2002 to 2006 where he led a team to become the Georgia Middle Lacrosse Champions in 2006. From there, he moved to Harrison High School from 2009 to 2012, where Harrison was in the state finals in 2009 and 2011. In 2013, Coach Morey went back to Plano for one year to coach Plano West High School Lacrosse. Following that year, he moved back to Georgia and coached Harrison High School in 2014 and 2015 before moving to Allatoona for 2016 to 2019 where Allatoona WON the State Championship in 2016. Coach Morey was again with Harrison from 2020 to 2022, and he is now back home as a Buc for the 2024 season!

Coach Morey is married to Debbie Richards Morey, and they have two children, a son Nathaniel and a daughter Reagan, and he is thankful for his father, Brock Morey, who he considers his mentor.
