Congratulations to Aoife Flynn for being nominated as the Athlete of the Week! She is a senior in Allatoona High School and plays for our Flag Football team. Coach Davis says, “Aoife has always been a fantastic leader for us, and she plays and practices at such a high level that she elevates those around her. I love how coachable she is, and the details she picks up helps make us better as a team.” She has played flag football for a year, and now this season will be her second season. She believes she was nominated because of her ability to cheer for everybody and that she always tries her hardest. Her most memorable memory in this sport is having the team dinners before the game; she believes it is a lot of fun and great for team bonding. She plans to go to the University of Georgia after high school for business, and she is excited for the future! Aoife’s advice to younger athletes is, “You don’t know until you ask, and give it your all because the worst-case scenario is that you mess up, and you get right back at it.” Congratulations again to Aoife Flynn for being nominated as Athlete of the Week!
