Buc Alumnus Will Formato was inducted into the Cobb County Wrestling Hall of Fame on Sunday, April 16, 2023. He is the first wrestler from Allatoona High School to be inducted into the Cobb County Wrestling Hall of Fame, and in fact, the first athlete from Allatoona to be inducted into any of the Cobb County Halls of Fame! Formato will be graduating from Appalachian State with his MBA in May 2023. During high school, he was a four-time State Placer, and he was the State Champion his Senior year. At App State, Formato has been a three-time NCAA D1 Qualifier and Southern Conference Wrestler of the Year 2022.
