Girls’ Golf’s Madison Sanford is Allatoona’s Athlete of the Week! Coach Tilton says, “As our only senior, we look to Madison to be the leader for a young Allatoona golf team. I am confident that she will be a role model to the younger ones in the way that she goes about taking care of schoolwork and balancing golf practice, matches, and tournaments. She has proven her success in the classroom and has developed into one of our best golfers!”

Madison has been playing golf since 8th grade and is also a part of the school’s jazz band and chorus. Her favorite tournament is held at Jekyll Island. Madison’s advice to younger athletes is, “Don’t let a bad moment define you, and pursue what you love. Good and bad moments happen, and the good moments make the bad worth it.” Congratulations, Madison!
