Congratulations to our Athlete of the Week, Megan McLarty! She is a ninth grader and the only freshman in Allatoona High School playing for our Varsity Volleyball team! Coach Soley says, “Megan is fearless. She fits in perfectly with our varsity volleyball team. In our second match of the season, she led the team in kills. Excited to see what she can do for the remainder of the season. Love of the game. Go Bucs.” While Megan was not sure why she was nominated for Athlete of the Week, leading the team in kills is self-explanatory. Megan stated her dream is to play D1 college volleyball, and she has been playing since she was in kindergarten. Megan says that her team are some of the most welcoming people, and she loves her team. We are all excited to see what she will do on our varsity volleyball team for this season and the future years!
