Coach Andy Wilcox returns to coaching at Allatoona after previously coaching with the Bucs from 2010-13 when they won the school’s first ever region championship and made their first ever appearance in the state playoffs. Coach Wilcox coached at North Cobb High School from 2006-09. During his tenure, the Warriors won a region title and reached a ranking of #1 in the State’s highest classification for four straight weeks in the ‘07 season, which was a first in school history. Coach Wilcox attended West Georgia University from 1996-98 where he was a member of the University’s first ever Division II Gulf South Conference Championship Football team. Coach Wilcox graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Biology Education. He played football, baseball, and wrestled at Sprayberry High School in Marietta.
