Coach Bouyer shared exceptional praise for Ava Glassmeyer, girls’ basketball Athlete of the Week. Bouyer said this season Ava’s “shown tremendous growth and leadership both on and off the court,” and “constantly improved as a player throughout the year.” He also applauded her consistently positive attitude, confirming that she was both a joy to coach and an extremely valuable member of Allatoona’s basketball team.

When prompted about her advice for younger athletes, Ava said, “Always show up for practice, even on the days you don’t feel like it,” reflecting her admirable drive and determination. “It’s also important to practice how you play, because it really does correlate to the game,” added Glassmeyer. Allatoona’s athletics are built on the foundation of excellent athletes like Ava, who is an active representation of unwavering perseverance and inspirational character.
