Congratulations to Reagan Paine for being the Athlete of the Week! She is in the tenth grade and part of Allatoona’s cross-country team led by Coach Patrick Parsons. “Reagan had one of the biggest drops in times from her first race in 2022 to 2023. She has been consistent in training, and I look forward to seeing her on the course this season.” Coach Parsons is excited to see her back! Reagan believes she was nominated because of her consistency, which both Reagan and Parsons agree on. She has been in cross-country since the sixth grade and plans to continue in college too. She loves the feeling of crossing the finish line and believes that the feeling of joy will never get old. Reagan has this to say for advice to younger athletes, “Keep trying and never give up and always stay strong even though something bad might happen.” Again, congratulations to Reagan Paine for being nominated for Athlete of the Week!
