Our Athlete of the week this week is Emma Bailey. Emma is a senior and has been a starter on the softball team all four years. \u201cShe has stepped up to being a team leader on and off the field\u201d, says coach Bradley Strickland. \u201cShe finished the week batting .526 with two doubles, one Homerun and seven RBI\u2019s.\u201d Emma says she tries, \u201creally hard to be a good role model for underclassmen and I have been performing well lately.\u201d Her plan after high school is to attend college for softball. Her favorite memory from softball is, \u201cgetting Krispy Kreme after region wins with the team.\u201d Emma’s advice to younger players is, \u201cEnjoy it.
