This week’s Athlete of the Week is Women’s Lacrosse’s freshman goalie Ella Herrmann, who is currently ranked #4 in the state for Save Percentage, and #25 in the nation in Goals Against. Coach Fleming said, “In addition to being an awesome goalie, Ella is an amazingly upbeat teammate. Her positive attitude is even more impressive considering the emotions she has been dealing with as her mom is battling cancer. Ella is a bright spot every day at practice, and she stays focused on the bigger picture of sport and life.” Ella had this advice for younger players, “Work hard at everything you do!”
