Coach Rylan Kelly is a graduate of North Cobb High School where he was a swimmer all four years, in marching band for three, and in audio video for three. He was a scholar athlete and took first place in Radio Broadcast at the State SkillsUSA competition. He is currently finishing his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and minor in Entrepreneurship at Kennesaw State University. While there, he has been active as a competitive dancer outside of the school and rock climbing. He has been swimming for 20 years, 18 of which were in summer league, four in high school, and three in year round.

Coach Kelly has seven years of coaching experience from summer league to year round swimming. He has also been teaching swim lessons for five years. During all of his swim experience, he has learned how to teach all different kinds of people including those with various physical or cognitive disabilities to those who simply need a unique approach catered to their learning style.

Coach Kelly has one younger sister and a dog named Lyla and a cat named Luna. Coach Kelly looks up to his mother and father and believes they have done a wonderful job raising him as they have given him opportunities necessary to become his own individual and to effectively maneuver in the ever changing circumstances of our current society. His favorite inspirational quotations include “The few who do are the envy of the many who only watch (Jim Rohn),” and “Be a goldfish (Ted Lasso).”
