Rachel LaRoche is starting her second year at Allatoona and is the head gymnastics coach and the JV competition cheer coach.  Prior to beginning at Allatoona, she taught at a middle school.  She has a Bachelor’s Degree in History Secondary Education from the University of North Georgia.  Coach LaRoche has coached club gymnastics for seven years.  In high school, she competed in club gymnastics, and also danced Pointe, tap, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and lyrical.  At North Georgia, she was on the Pom Dance Team.  While at North Georgia, Coach LaRoche received the following awards:  Honor’s Program Best Overall Student 2018 Senior Class; Department of History, Philosophy, and Anthropology’s Sarah Drew History Award Recipient; HOPE Scholarship Recipient; and President’s Honor Roll (5 semesters).

Coach LaRoche is married to Daniel LaRoche, and they have two fur babies, their dogs, Trixie and Dudleigh Anne.  She looks up to her friend, Coach Gratzer.  Coach LaRoche finds inspiration from the quotation, “Today, do what others won’t so tomorrow you can accomplish what others can’t.” – Simone Biles
