Coach Kovalsky shared, I always wanted to be a teacher and when I moved to Georgia in 7th grade, my math teacher completely changed my life. She believed in me and pushed me to see my potential as a student. I gained confidence in my learning and saw success in the classroom for the first time in my academic career. I can still remember what an amazing feeling that was! My time in 7th grade math class shaped me in so many ways and is the foundation for how I want students to remember their time in my classroom.”

Coach Kovalsky draws inspiration from the quotation, “Always try to leave people better than you found them. Hug the hurt. Kiss the broken. Befriend the lost. Love the lonely (Unknown).”
