Coach Lauren Jackson is a Cobb County native and graduated from Harrison High School in 2005. She was the Captain of her Division 1 lacrosse team at the United States Naval Academy (USNA) in 2009 and graduated with a B.S. in International Relations with minors in French and Spanish.
 
Immediately after graduation, Coach Jackson commissioned as a Navy Pilot and flew the MH-60S helicopter. She served as an active duty military member for 10 years and deployed twice in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve. She specializes in Search and Rescue, MEDEVAC, and Special Operations Forces missions. After getting out of the cockpit, Coach Jackson earned her Masters in Leadership, Education and Development from George Washington University and taught Leadership at the United States Naval Academy for 4 years. She currently teaches math at Allatoona High School.
