A New Orleans native with 12 years of high school coaching experience, six as Head Coach at Grace King High School in Metairie Louisiana.  While at King, he compiled an overall record of 53-107 which is the third most wins in the school’s history.  King totaled 50 wins in 13 years prior to his arrival.  Tenure includes one Division I signee to the University of New Orleans.

Before the coaching assignment at Grace King, Bouyer was the girls assistant head coach at O. Perry Walker High School and the assistant boys coach at Sophie B. Wright High School in New Orleans.

Bouyer has a B.A. in History from Southern University at New Orleans and has been coaching for a total of eighteen years and teaching for seventeen years.  In high school, he played varsity football and basketball.  Coach Bouyer looks up to Sean LaBeauf, and he finds inspiration from the quotation: “Have goals so strong that obstacles, failure, and loss only act as motivation.  (Unknown)”
