HIGH SCHOOL: ALLATOONA

Jaime Williams has been coaching for two years.  Prior to graduating from Allatoona High School in 2015, she competed in lacrosse, cross country, and track and field.  She is currently enrolled at Kennesaw State University, majoring in Exercise Science, and she will be graduating in December 2020 after having been on the President’s or Dean’s List every semester since enrolling in 2015. Coach Williams does not play any collegiate sports, but she has participated in CrossFit competitively for the past four years, and she continues to run recreationally.

Coach Williams has a long-term boyfriend, and they have a 95 pound German Shepherd/Husky mix.  As mentors, Coach Williams looks up to one of her professors, Dr. VanDusseldorp at Kennesaw State University who has a PhD in Exercise Physiology.  Coach Williams says, “[Dr. VanDusseldorp] has a passion for fitness and sports nutrition. She has helped me become passionate in my field of study and has helped expand my knowledge of nutrition for athletes so I can become a better coach.”  Coach Williams finds inspiration from Nelson Mandela, who said, “It always seems impossible until it’s done.”
