Coach Erik Fridborg has a BS in Secondary English Education from Corban University, and he has spent twenty-three years teaching and coaching. In high school, he played soccer, baseball, and golf, then he continued to play soccer in college. He has twice been named Cobb County Coach of the Year (2015 and 2016), was a Third Team College All American, and a two-time Pacific Northwest POY.

Fridborg has helped lead the Bucs to five Region Championships, two Final 4 appearances, one State Runner up, and multiple playoff runs. He is really looking forward to the influx of Freshmen into this year’s varsity team.

Coach Fridborg and his wife, Alison, have two children: Adalyn, age 16, and Analeigh, age 13. Fridborg takes his direction from Jesus and finds inspiration in the quotation from Braveheart: “They can take our lives, but they will never take our freedom!”
