Coach Sorrells has a Bachelor’s in History from Furman University. This is his first year coaching with Allatoona. He played football and lacrosse at Allatoona High School, then he played lacrosse at Furman from 2018 to 2021.

Coach Sorrells looks up to his father as a mentor, and is close with his family, Danny Sorrells, Melissa Sorrells, Cody Sorrells, and Shelby Sorrells. He finds inspiration from the following quotation: “There’s the pain of discipline, and the pain of regret. If you choose the pain of discipline, you’ll never have to deal with the pain of disappointment.”
