Hey Buc family! Any soccer fans out there? Our school’s soccer team has kicked off their season, and we’ve got a little insight into what the varsity boys do to prepare. Head Coach Erik Fridborg says, “We have been working a lot on building team chemistry on the field. We have been experimenting with players in different positions to see what gives us the best balance.” Regarding our team so far, Coach Fridborg says, “I have been very pleased with the guys. They are working hard and listening to instructions, and overall seem like a group that really gets along-which is a key starting point for any successful season.” Soccer takes a lot of effort and endurance, so it is always impressive to watch our players throughout their games. When asked what soccer means to him, Coach Fridborg said, “Soccer means an opportunity to still feel and be young. I do not take it for granted; it is a real pleasure to be able to coach and train with the guys from time to time.” Go out and support Allatoona’s Varsity Boys at their future soccer games if you get the chance; you will not want to miss it!
