Fall sports are back and better than ever before. Sports over the last year have changed a lot due to the covid 19 virus. This year, things are finally going back to normal. Allatoona is allowing total capacity with no masks to all of their sporting events. Here at Allatoona, we have many sports starting in the fall: cheer, volleyball, softball, cross country, flag football, varsity, JV, and 9th-grade football. The One-Act Play has also completed auditions. Football has its homecoming game on September 17th. Cross Country will compete in the Cobb County XC Championships will be at Allatoona Creek Park on September 18th. JV and Varsity Softball continue to compete with games against Osborne on September 7th and South Cobb on September 9th. JV and Varsity Volleyball continues to compete with home games against Pope and Lassiter for Varsity on September 8th and against South Cobb for JV on September 13th. Freshman Football continues its season on Thursday, September 9th, against Osborne at home. JV Football continues Thursday, September 9th as well, against Kennesaw Mountain away. One-Act Play is on Saturday, October 10th. Flag Football begins on Thursday, November 11th, at home against Harrison.

A major theme for this school year is Buc pride, and this year Buc passes are back to help you show your pride. Buc passes get you into all regular-season games along with other things. New this year, Mrs. Howard will be selecting one coach each week to be featured as Coach of the Week to highlight all the amazing things they do as a coach. Let’s make this year the best year for sports fans, show up and show your Buc pride.
