Our Athlete of the Week this week is Campbell Parr. Campbell is a senior at Allatoona and has been on the cheer team since her freshman year. Coach Anette Gratzer says, “She is always stepping up to the plate and bringing more skills to help her team succeed. She is always willing to try new things, and even though she is a senior, she is never content and always pushes herself!” Campbell is always encouraging her teammates and has a positive attitude. After high school, Campbell plans to attend Kennesaw State University, cheer, and major in a medical field. Campbell’s advice for younger athletes is to “believe in yourself no matter what, take the time and put in the work. Make new friendships, always work together and enjoy every moment.”
