Coach Smolko is from Chicago, Illinois (Da Bears!) and moved down to Georgia after being too cold all the time. Later, she graduated from Sprayberry High School and made the best decision of her life by going to college to become a teacher when her dreams of winning Survivor seemed out-of-reach. She attended Kennesaw State University for her Bachelor’s in English Education and graduated with Honors. This is Coach Smolko’s third year at Allatoona where she is a ninth grade teacher and a coach for varsity basketball cheerleading! When she is not in the classroom, she can be found in the sale racks of Urban Outfitters, practicing yoga and pilates, or blogging about the last novel she read. Ms. Smolko lives in Kennesaw with her cute mutt, Bentley.
